Archiving syslog (dmesg)

I’m about to build a FreeBSD kernel, so I decided to keep track of my boot-up console messages. I ran the following:

cat /var/run/dmesg.boot | mutt -nx -s “syslog” $EMAILADDRESS

(Replace $EMAILADDRESS with a real email address.)
